Melissa McInnis has been a professional photographer for over ten years, specializing in destination weddings and boudoir.  After earning a bachelor’s degree from ULL in 2009, she decided to start her own business by taking family portraits; however, she quickly found a love for working with couples leading up to and on their wedding day.  Melissa has a passion for working with her clients to create the most beautiful photos and help them enjoy the experience.  She takes her clients on an adventure during shoots, finding interesting locations, helping them with outfit choices, and using prompts to get the most natural-looking shots.  Her vibrant and easy-going personality allows clients to feel comfortable and confident being themselves in front of the camera.  A typical couple’s session includes grabbing drinks and heading to their favorite spots, where Melissa can capture the most authentic and raw moments.  

Melissa is an outgoing and energetic person who loves to travel. She has successfully combined her talents and passions into a career that has allowed her to travel to six different countries and many different states to capture adventurous couples and their love stories. In the last year, Melissa has discovered she also enjoys mentoring other entrepreneurs in photography and beyond.  She is in the process of creating a series of online courses to share her years of experience and knowledge with the world.  Melissa is grateful to have found a career that she can take pride in and is looking forward to the next steps in growing her business beyond just photography.
